Cookies & storage
Version 2026-08-21 · Effective August 21, 2026
This notice explains the limited browser storage used by TrafficWar.
Essential session cookie
After authentication, TrafficWar uses a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax session cookie to keep the panel signed in. Page JavaScript cannot read it. Its lifetime is controlled by the server, and signing out invalidates the session. This cookie is essential to provide the requested account service.
Cloudflare and Turnstile
Cloudflare may set or read strictly necessary security cookies and process browser signals when delivering the site or presenting Turnstile on signup, sign-in, verification, or password-recovery forms. These controls detect bots, protect forms, and maintain network security; they are governed by Cloudflare’s applicable privacy terms.
Local browser storage
The panel uses localStorage for interface preferences such as theme, sidebar state, selected service or filters, saved views, onboarding progress, and live-map or audio preferences. These values remain in that browser unless cleared. TrafficWar does not place passwords, API keys, MFA setup secrets, challenge tokens, email-verification tokens, password-reset tokens, or panel session tokens in localStorage.
No advertising storage
TrafficWar does not use advertising cookies, cross-site advertising pixels, or browser storage to sell or target browsing activity. Current browser storage is limited to service operation, security, and user-requested preferences.
Your controls
You can sign out to end the active panel session and can clear site data in your browser to remove cookies and local preferences. Blocking essential cookies prevents authenticated panel use, and blocking Turnstile may prevent protected forms from being submitted.
