Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TrafficWar.
Operator and agreement
TrafficWar is an online service operated by Mohammed Albadri, an individual based in New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt; it is not operated by an incorporated company. In these terms, “TrafficWar”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Mohammed Albadri in that capacity. By creating an account, accepting these terms, or using the service, you agree to this version of the Terms of Service.
The service
TrafficWar provides event ingestion, metrics, event and trace exploration, alerts, exports, programmatic query access, and live traffic visualisation. Features and entitlements depend on your plan. TrafficWar is an observability service, not your sole system of record, backup, or emergency-response channel.
Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep passwords, recovery codes, sessions, and API keys confidential, use multi-factor authentication where required, and promptly notify [email protected] of suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity through your account and credentials. Keep API keys in trusted server-side environments and never expose them in public or client-side code.
Your data and instructions
You retain your rights in data you submit. You authorize us to host, transmit, transform, aggregate, and otherwise process it only to provide, secure, support, and maintain TrafficWar, to follow your configured features, and to comply with law. You must have all rights, notices, and lawful bases needed to send the data, including event data about your own users. The Data Processing Addendum applies when we process personal data for you as a processor.
Acceptable use
You must not use TrafficWar to violate law or third-party rights; attack, probe, overload, or disrupt systems; distribute malware; evade plan limits or security controls; submit data you are not entitled to process; or expose another person’s confidential information. We may rate-limit, reject, or remove traffic that threatens the service or other users.
Plans, limits, and changes
Plans may impose event, alert, service, feature, export, and retention limits over daily, weekly, or monthly periods. Requests that exceed a hard limit may be rejected. We may change free features or generally available plan terms, and will provide reasonable notice before a material change to a paid plan takes effect, except where an urgent security, legal, or abuse issue requires faster action.
Billing and Polar
Polar is the Merchant of Record for paid self-service subscriptions. Polar operates checkout, processes payment, handles applicable tax calculation and collection, and issues billing documents under its checkout terms. Starting a paid plan creates a recurring monthly subscription. A plan change is applied through the Polar customer portal and may be prorated and invoiced immediately under the configured immediate-proration policy. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; service continues until then unless suspended for another reason.
Failed payments, grace, and refunds
If a renewal payment fails, paid entitlements may continue during a seven-day payment grace period while Polar retries or you update the payment method. After that grace period, we may restrict the account to available unpaid entitlements. Refunds are considered case by case and are provided where required by applicable law; cancelling a subscription does not by itself create a refund for the remaining period.
Availability and service changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis and may be interrupted by maintenance, provider failures, network conditions, security work, or changes. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify or discontinue features when reasonably necessary and will try to avoid materially reducing a paid service during an active period without notice.
Suspension, termination, and data
You may stop using TrafficWar at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the Polar customer portal. We may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, enforce these terms, respond to abuse or non-payment, or comply with law. Event visibility and deletion follow the configured plan, retention, archive-deletion, and legal-hold rules; account closure is not a substitute for a customer’s own end-user deletion instructions.
Intellectual property and feedback
TrafficWar, its interface, and its software and documentation remain the property of the operator or applicable licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of your data or our service. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without obligation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed and TrafficWar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for TrafficWar during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and non-contractual disputes relating to TrafficWar are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Cairo, Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a new version and, for material changes, providing reasonable notice in the service or by email. Continued use after the effective date of a required update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
